Janet entered the real estate investment business in the early 1970's in Rochester, New York, focusing on multi-family properties she and her husband renovated and operated personally. Relocating to the Finger Lakes region in the late 70's in purchase of Pebble Beach cottages and a historic Main Street village home, Jan began her romance with this picture postcard area.

The strength fostered from her dad's belief that she could do anything and personal real estate background led to Jan founding Connect-A-Service Rentals which very quickly grew to a year round/vacation rental business now known as Finger Lakes Getaways, Inc. Urged on by customer requests, Jan developed Connect-A-Service, Inc., a contracting/service business providing anything from yard care and cleaning services to painting, odd jobs and major renovations - filling the client needs large or small.

During this period Jan evolved from a licensed salesperson to an associate broker to assist clients in buying selling of lake, residential and other properties. Through the persistence of customers and associates, Jan decided to form her own full service real estate agency.

Janet's business growth and success has been built on excellent personalized customer service and her ability to tailor her efforts to each customer's needs. In assisting each client in selling or buying a personal or investment property in the timeframe and manner right for THEM - the logo emerged "Where strangers become customers become friends."
